THE FIRST LILY'S PAD RIBBIT REVIEW is done and done! What an amazing and connected evening! Thanks to all the musicians, friends, and neighbors who came to help us celebrate our launch! We had an amazing time!
Our inaugural group of performers included Burlington's own David Schein sharing some Burlington Stories and delighting all with his magical ukulele, A Montreal Paul just absolutely crushing on guitar ukulele and vocals, the amazingly talented Dec Dye with their beautiful cover of The 1975's Paris, and two original songs including Red Frames. Ed Beale took a leap of faith and made his debut performance with wonderful ukulele cover of the Beatles For You Blue. Of course Maya Sun and Rory Goodale of The Champlain Shoregasm had to play a three song set with covers of The Violent Femmes, White Stripes, and their original As The World Comes Apart! And Phil Merrick and Greg Hancock of Squandered Minds ended the official performances with a 3 song set on 12 and 6 string!Check out the pics and videos from the event at the Lily's Pad Facebook page by clicking here. See you on 20th December, 2023 at 7:00pm EST for the next Review!
